Utah Homebrew clubs?

Sun Oct 13, 2013 9:34 am

I recently moved to Draper UT from out of state; I don't know anyone but would like to join a Homebrew club or hangout with some cool homebrewers. I've tried emailing the ZZHOPS guys but never got a reply.

I'm about 7 hours north of you so I'm not sure what's going on down there. Did you check the AHA list? Maybe check SLC. Since you're pretty close a club might have listed themselves there.

the Hop Bombshells are a female only club FYI and another great shop is the Beer Nut on 1200s State st. Call Jaime (an officer in the Hop Bombshells and manager at the Beer Nut) at the Beer Nut and she can point you in the right direction. She knows everybody professional and homebrewer in the area. DId you try some of ZZhops other modes of communications such as their facebook page?

Cheers and Good luck

So if you're not a female (cannot assume you aren't these days), you could go in drag. Hey, it worked for Tom Hanks in Bosom Buddies

Good luck in your search. If you have the option, check a couple. I drive 45 minutes to my homebrew club even though I have one in the next town over. I just hit it off with them. They also seem to like my beer which makes them ok in my book or taste-challenged. Either way, I'm a winner
