Another one of my favorites. What can I say I'm a noodle fiend.

Japan the bacon dry country.

Sounds like somebody needs to learn how to make their own. I assume there are pigs in Japan? If there are other Westerners there in your predicament, think how big a hero you'd be! It's very easy, BTW, provided you can source fresh pork belly.

Here's a great recipe to get you started.

+1 for that ne AdamK. I gorged myself on Ramen in Japan. The only place I can find on par ramen in Washington is a place in Seattle called Samurai Noodles. Homemade noodles and pork broth... Now I need to make a trip to Seattle!

There was a great place in Bellvue near the hotel for NHC called Boom Noodles. The Yakisoba was excellent. Yakisoba was my favorite meal in Japan.

Now you've hot me craving Okinawa soba. Haven't ever found a place in the States to get this.

Bacon is the reason God invented pigs. If you have pigs, you must have bacon.....unless you live in a completely godless country. :)

From the pig I slaughtered and butchered last fall.

Ground pork wrapped in pork belly.

Last bit of seasoning on top. 5 hours at 250F in the oven.

If you take what I post here literally, you're retarded. I'm here to fuck around, have a good time, and learn about beer. You mean nothing to me and I mean nothing to you.
