NHC Winners

Mon Apr 23, 2012 7:42 am

I thought I would start a thread for the bn army to be able to post how many entries have moved on to the second round. I am still waiting for my score sheets, they should arrive around the end of the week if its similar to previous years.

Took a first place for my Oktoberfest entered under the BN Must have been a highly unentered category as I got a 36

Hopefully I have time to rebrew it

You probably had a pair of judges score it low, but the Mini-BOS panel recognized it for what it is.

Congrats and Great job!

Not sure why I received my scoresheets before we are supposed too?

And we only had to send 1 bottle to the first round so I don't think they had a mini bos

Anyways thanks for the congrats!

All regions had 1 bottle per entry, but certainly most categories had more than 1 flight. I judged IPAs and Pilsners on Saturday in Portland, and we had 6 flights of IPA and 3 flights of Pilsners. I think there were even more flights of Stouts. Chances are small that there were less than 15 entries for Oktoberfest and Vienna Lager in a 750 beer competition, but I guess it's possible.
