What do you guys think of this? I stumbled upon this today online, while looking for something else. I think it's brand new.

http://www.hoptech.com/products/ruby-street-brewery

It looks like something you could easily run in conjunction with Blichmann's forthcoming Tower of Power. The price and size are right.

No thanks... I really just don't like it! I guess it just does not look worth that price tag to me...

I keep seeing that in BYO and am less than impressed with the looks of it. If there are two things that need to get out of the mag it is that Ruby Street thing, and the goofy looking brewhemoth.

I think they are very proud of it. I get about ~$1200 for the goods, fast estimate. The remaining $ is labor and margins. I am trying to decide what I woul dpay for it, and even $1500 sounds steep to me based on looks and product.

The big question is do you need the kettles and pump or just the stand? If you have kettles and a pump already blichmann is a nice alternative as well as some other shops out there that sell just the stand and burners. If you need the kettles and pump then its a good option, but a stand alone would be about half the price.

I just checked the hoptech website, homepage lists it at $50.00! When I click on the link, it comes up as an error, so I guess they're still working on it <grin>.

I'd buy it for fiddy even with shipping!

I know that the site said to add $50 if you needed a lift gate for delivery.
