Hey, Howdy from St Paul!

Really, I moved here from North Central Wisconsin, so the locals will call me a ‘sconny’. That’s fine. Back home, we call the folks that come from Minnesota “mud ducks”. I think this is a representation of wit, personally. After all, Minnesota is the land of 10,000 Lakes and I think the blood lose from all the mosquitoes takes a toll. If there is a body of water that has a measurable amount all year long, is that a lake, or a swamp or a bog? So every clown that has a wet spot on his or her land has water front property. Blah Blah Blah!!! So you Mud Ducks feel free to chime in and let me hear you all. :-p

I would like say that I was turned on to this show by listening to the twit network net cast ‘this week in media’ episode #24, which you can find at: http://www.twit.tv/. Shows I like best are: FLOSS (Free Libre' Open Source Software), Security Now, this Week in Media, and of course, this Week in Tech. .All of which walk the same line as that of the home brewer network, at least in my case, freedom from the heard and chose your own path mentality.

Welcome KingBob. I know about the shows that you're talking about. I have listened to Leo Laport for a few years now. He has helped me learn more about computers too. I didn't know that he did a piece on this type of media events. Cool. I'm going to listen to the show later today before the shows here start up.
I'm not a slacker in society. I'm an over achieving homeless person.

I am currently a 'Sconni. Have been since 1981, since I moved here from Illinois (FIB or Flatlander). There is a good possibility i will become a redneck, as my company wants me to move to Birmingham, AL. I am In Milwaukee, and have been listening to the show for 4 months.
I brew, therefore I am.
