So where's this button? the last show I have is from 04/22/10 and my settings are to check every day for new downloads and if found, download them.

Right click on the feed and a fairly long context menu comes up. Click "update podcast" to make sure you've got everything updated (sometimes the feed subscription somehow gets out of sync, so it's important to click that item periodically), then "show all available episodes."
