Hey all-
Another brewer in the Bay Area. I've successfully made two batches so far from extract. I made the porter and berry beer from More Beer. Nice that they are just a little ways down the road. I have a barley wine in production currently, about to transfer it for a nice long secondary on french oak cubes. Definitely excited about learning stuff from y'all. Thanks!

Just call me Beaber.... That's what they all do at work. Thanks for the welcomes. The plan on the barley wine is to transfer it this weekend then toss it into the basement for about 6 months. i'm getting married in a bout a year and I plan on making all of the beer for the wedding. This is wedding brew #1. More to come.... Prolly remake the berry beer as that is so damn drinkable, a dark and maybe and amber....

I saw on one of the beer forums, probably morebeer, a guy who made all the Beer, Wine, and Soda for his kid's wedding. Had like 3-4 wines 12 beers and a bunch of soda including Diet Rootbeer. Many were on tap and some were in bottles. Each label had a story behind it relating to the couple and shit.... a bit overboard but cool none the less. Might want to search for it.

I'm a lucky guy. not only does she encourage the brewing hobby, she got me into motorcycle riding. she's a special girl. And between the two of us we are a maters degree in chemistry and a Ph.D. in microbiology. What more do you need for perfect brewing? Just need to keep listening to the brewing network archives to get the proper knowledge.
Just inoculated a few liters of media for a starter culture. gotta love abuse of lab materials....
