Well, I'm back home after the surgery. In all, they took 18" of colon, about 25% of my liver and also removed my gallbladder. I have an incision from my sternum to my pelvis. Let me tell ya, I'm sore as HELL! They sent me home with percocet, not exactly high powered, but it does the trick I guess. I'm laid up from work for a couple of weeks, so I can catch up on the archives. My oncologist says I will need another 4-6 months of chemo, followed by 6 weeks of radiation. But first I need to recover from surgery and start to work out again. He says I need my strength built back up before we ravage my body again. It doesn't matter much to me, I just want this shit out of my body for good. I figured since I can't drink for a while (with my damaged liver) I'd start making a bunch of high gravity brews and put them up for aging. Just need a brewing buddy to carry all the heavy liquids around. Thanks again to all the well-wishers! I really enjoy reading all the nice things everyone has to say. Take care brewing brothas and sistas!

I say we keep the original date. I'm dying to sample them. How's yours coming along? Mine is still in secondary, I'll probably bottle it in July or August.

Are you OK? its been a while.
I will say it again.
My friend Randy, passed almost a year ago, would not eat (lymphoma). I don't mean to bring you down, but if you are not eating, get some cousin. He was told by a nurse at the cancer institute to get some so he would eat. He wouldn't do it, and we lost him.

"I asked Jesus ... "How much do you love me " And Jesus said ... "This much." Then He stretched out His arms and died."

I am praying for you my friend.
