New in San Diego

New member to this forum from San Diego. Been listening to all the archives and loving this show. TBN ... keep up the good work.

I've been a homebrewer for about a year now, recently converting to all grain. Also a member of the national homebrew club of the year QUAFF!

Where in San Diego? I'm from Santee originally. Glad to see more of SD showing up here.

I am from Clairemont, and I seem like the only homebrewer in the area. Most of the brewers in SD seem to come from north or east county.

Must be the proximity to La Jolla ... people who would rather buy than craft.

I think you hit it right on the head. I had the same feeling in the East county. I know that it wasn't that people would rather buy the better beer though. They just wanted quantity, not quality.
