I can't find my issue and wanted to brew this beer. If anyone has the Jul-Aug 09 BYO issue, please post this recipe.

From BYO
5 Gal
OG = 1.043
FG = 1.010
SRM = 5
IBU = 15
50% Pils or 2Row
25% Wheat
25% Torrified Wheat
3oz Acidulated
3oz Carawheat
Mash 145F for 30, then 156F till complete
Boil 75 min
Saison yeast for 24 hours, Pitch at 72F let rise to 80F
Rice hulls!
Mt Hood hops 1oz in mash and .54oz @ 60min, .36oz @ 30min
Age with Oak soaked in white wine

From Firestone Walker website
ABV 3.8%
IBU = 15
SRM = 4
50% Pils or 2Row
25% Wheat
25% Flaked Wheat
Saaz only to 15 IBU
krausen with fermenting pale ale to finish
Age in white wine barrels

I did the BYO version with Sterling hops and T58 dry yeast
Very nice, Soft and smooth, slight belgian flavor

Great summer beer!

Did it specify which Saison yeast and what type oak chips?

French oak chips
Wyeast 3724 (Belgian Saison) or White Labs WLP565 (Belgian Saison I)
