Hello,

I'm new to being able to sign in, but I've been reading this forum and learning so much for a while now. I am a student at Western Illinois University in Macomb and have been brewing only since January. I've brewed only 7 times and am already sick of bottling. If I can scrape up enough money, I hope to join a lot of you in the "keg club". I've rambled long enough and I'm glad to be able to have some of my own questions answered for once.

Thanks guys,
Tim

Welcome to the forum! You probably know by now some of the basic rules.

1) Don't be offended by the insults we throw your way, it's just our way of saying we love you.

2) Don't send PushEject any beer no matter how much he begs, and he will.

Good luck in your quest for kegging gear.

Imagine this:

A post that talks about anal sex in the topic, and PushEject immediately chimes in about being naked...

OH!! Wait we don't have to imagine anything!!

Welcome! Yeah, Push is... interesting. Then again, so aren't we all in some way...

Just wait until Bub goes on a tirade about you. Then you know you have really made it.

You know that if you don't eat for a month or so you can afford a kegging setup. Just don't tell your family that you're not paying for food. Also have your friends make donations to the "Future Keggers of America" and you'll be amazed at how many of them will pony up in exchange for some promised beer.

1. I'm glad that someone is naked under my clothes.
2. I would love Bub to bless me with his best wishes.
3. I can't go without eating. Notice that food is my first interest. Also, my friends wouldn't donate toward my kegging system because they don't really like my homebrew. On the other hand, they enjoy Coors and Keystone Light far too much to like good stuff. I actually brewed an American lager for them, but something went horribly wrong. It tastes like chemicals. I don’t know if it was the bleach I used or some fucked up infection from my plastic fermenter. I’ve ditched both and will be using glass and Star San.

Thank you all for the warm welcomes,
Tim
