OK, I haven't listened to that show yet. I can't tell from the photos - WTF happened? A chick passed out with a death grip on her beer and she won the DOTW award? Is that it? Was she drawn on or something?

If your "posse" did that to me or any friend of mine.... I would have a problem with that. You may find out too late that the person you are "shaming" doesn't share your sense of humor. Use extra caution when involving someone's wife. If it were my wife that was drawn upon by your posse, one of you would have lost an eye. That would make me laugh. ha ha.

Humor is so subjective.

You're dead on with the subjectivity and shaming a dudes wife being off limits. UNLESS, said wife's husband has tha' keh' HUNAHS! to break out the ol' sharpie himself. (kahunas read: drunk enough) But if it is the guys hanging out, game on. We shamed a buddy with a nice forehead dick and mustache that didn't come off for a couple of days. He was mightily pissed when his Treasury Audit team noticed the faint hint of a cock on his forehead. To this day we die in laughter every time it is brought up.

The moral of the story; Shaming creates bonds. Sometimes with ink.

I just don't get this whole shaming thing, it must generational - or a total lack of a sense of right and wrong. To my knowledge, this has been happening mainly in the last ten years and it's generally restricted to males under 25. I'd bet it got started in fraternities since those guys are expected to be dicks.
If someone tried to draw on or shave a friend of mine while passed out they'd have to go through me first. Hell, I'll even look after a total stranger that's had too much to drink even if they aren't passed out. You know, convince them to stop drinking, try to call someone to pick them up, get them in a taxi, make sure they don't get hurt... To me, that's the way humans behave. The pictures of shaming I see on the web almost make me ashamed to be a drunkard.

I do tend to agree too. I myself wouldn't fuck with someone I did not know. And even if I did know the person well enough, I wouldn't do anything "permanent" or downright, well, wrong. It takes me back to high school when a cousin of a buddy of mine would end up passed out. We filled the holes of his socks with mustard and glued (Elmer's) some crackers to his face. But I also sure as hell would be sure not to pass out if I was hanging with anyone I couldn't fully trust.
