long time listener, first time poster

Hello all. I had been listening to the archives for a while but a few weeks ago I started listening live and hanging out in the chat room. Now I've taken the last step and registered on the forum. I'd like it if there was a little more activity here but it's a pretty nice forum.

A little info about me. I am an all grain brewer on an extremely tight budget since I'm in graduate school. My brewing setup consists of a turkey fryer, a bucket with a false bottom and a glass carboy.

I'm going to be in San Francisco in a few weeks if you guys have any suggestions for brew pubs to hit, other than the 21st amendment.
