Here are the pictures of my MLT with the braided hose in place hope this helps

This is a 24inch stainless steel brain on a brass barb with my 48qt igloo rectangular cooler. The barb does sit up about a half inch off the bottom and I think this may be the cause of my lack of efficiency as it may not be getting everything out it can.
