Black IPA

Wed Aug 26, 2009 2:27 pm

I attended the Stumptown beer fest. recently and there was a brewery there that had a delicious Black IPA. I can't remember if it was Speakeasy or 21st Amendment and wanted to know if someone else was there that knows. Or, if someone has a good homebrew recipe for a black IPA?
Thanks

They both make one. I'd guess 21A, because I know it's on tap a few places in SF right now. Called Back In Black, I think it's great, too.

Check the Murry's show. I think they gave a recipe for a black IPA.

Ruth McGowan's Brewpub had a Black IPA that was supposedly one of the best beers there.
