Sounds like you need to go on a quest to find the secret lair of JP. Get your cloak of rainbows and your unicorn blade and quest on!!

SCH - I think the new B3 ones are pretty much identical in size, shape, and the fact that they are both now pressurizable. That's the extent of the similarities, however. The new B3 ones are TOTALLY thread free (including the sample port), and have have tricovers everywhere - including one at the top so you can switch out a BBOT, airlock, CO2 hookup. The basically fixed every problem I had with them, and now it's up to Blichmann to catch up.

Next major purchase of mine will be one of those beauties. Serious works of art.

On one hand I'm happy I read this thread, as I am in the market. On the other, I'm now more confused than ever.
Does anybody know if the new B3 conicals will have leg extensions optional? I like having a more compact (shorter) conical so that I can fit my temp. control box under my bar. I was sold on the Blichmann 14 g until I saw this thread. Guess I'll have to wait to see what B3 comes out with.

This looks interesting.

Apparently they're going to market them around $100 less than a Blichmann.
