Mounting Burners

Alright so I just recieved my brewframe from my local welder, and I neglected to ask for a mounting frame to sit my burners on top of. I was wondering what other alternatives I could use to mount my burners besides welding steel. It's a basic 2 tier frame. One top, 2 on the bottom. One burner on the top frame, 1 burner on the outside bottom frame.

You can get small pieces of flat stock at Home Depot. You can pound a few 90 degree angles in it, and secure it with machine screws. You will have to tap the holes you drill.

You should clamp it into place and test fire the burner to make sure you have it the height you want before drilling the holes.

do you think predrilled flat zinc would bend if I tried?

You can bend steel upto 7ga. in a bench vise with a 5lb sledge.

By hand? Upto 16ga. It'll be much easier to bend over/ on something than just using your thumbs. Getting a nice brake in the material will not happen using thumbs, radii will.

I was gonna say, with a big enough hammer, you can bend almost anything!

Do you have pictures of your brew frame? I am thinking of building one and I'm looking for ideas.
