this is what I have it hooked up to. behind the washer I put a rubber O-ring to help seal up everything and fit snugly against the side there.

I have a SS braid in my cooler. My only complaint is that I have to occasionally make sure it is not floating after I stir. If it is, just gently guide it back down to the bottom. Other than that I love it. I reach 70% on all my batches and it is durable as well. I am up to near 100 batches on mine.

Very cool stuff guys!!! I'm just in the process of building my new mash tun as well. Finally (after 2-3 years) making the jump to AG. Can't wait!!! This is what I found... it's a slight take on the Denny Conn mash tun. I've got almost everything that I need - just can't get the right sized washers. May need to just pull out the dremel :)

Just received my fittings today - All Stainless, tees, 90's and bulk head fittings. uses 3 screens for the filter bed runoff. Only have my drawing to post. more to come when I build this and intergrate into the 48Quart cooler, rectangular or a IceBox version. Take care!

hey brewjester. Sorry, I do get carried away - love the build and design portion of this hobby. It is the Mech Engr in me. Damn ready for AG brewing though. Not getting the results I want from Extract. Take care!
