I did a RyePA a while back that turned out pretty good, however I wasn't really impressed with the ringwood yeast. To be honest I doubt I'll use it ever again.

Re: latte hop ipa

Tue May 26, 2009 6:59 am

I just tasted my Griffin Spit inspired "late" hopped IPA"

20 min 2 oz Summit
10 min 2 oz Summit
1 min 1 oz Summit + 1 oz Amarillo
dry hop 14 days 1 oz Amarillo
dry hopped 7 days Summit

Once it was carbonated it came out great, nice heavey flavor and aroma with a touch of bitterness which turns it into sort of a session beer that does ot ruin the pallet. It has a nice tangirine citrus flavor to it with none of the oniony/garlick flavor some other people had mentioned.
I may make it again with 1 oz of bitter hops as well.
Cheers.
