Re: Leaks in gas bar

Well Buddy, third times the charm. I'll tell you though, after seeing the experiences some people have had, I'm definitely going with cast iron instead of jet burners and hard pipe instead of gas beams. I'm just interested in what works, and I've seen too many problems with those two items.
I'll be welding up my own stand soon enough, though I'm still collecting parts for the gas and electronics. Cheaper is better. Free is best of all. :drink

C'mon, dude, your stand smokes more than a ham factory. Every time you brew I walk away looking like a Welsh coal miner at the end of his shift.

Fuck, fuck, fuckitty, fuck, fuck.

I trusted my welder dude when he said that he pressure tested my gas beam. Was all set to do a pre-launch fire test. Leaking like a sieve on one of the welds in the inside of the middle bottom support. Had to dismantle all the hardpiping that took forever to get right. Another week delay. Shit.

Don't worry, it's being taken care of.
Now if I could just get a free weekend to brew.

That sucks Mylo :(

Sorry to hear that Mylo. Just makes me more certain I want to go with threaded pipe for the whole thing. It might not be pretty, but I'm pretty damn sure it will work.
Sorry I can't help you with your schedule, Trip. But I would love to help out on your next brew. I'll bring a change of clothes, just in case.

Sooner or later, we all have nothing useful to add. So you had better develop a good line of bullshit. :|
