Its been 12 days since my last drink...man this sux. Between our staff trianing and our first session of camp I have not been able to leave camp for a night to have a few beers, and its not looking like I will for this "weekend" either, so that puts it to another 12 days till I can have that sweet necter that I crave soooo much. so, all of you sitting in the back yard having a BBQ with a few cool beers, watching a baseball game with the guys or hanging in run-down shacks in the wilderness (the place I would prefer to be in personally) please think of me every now and again when you open a fresh one.

I feel for you. Our camp has also been in session for the past two weeks. Been working 65-70 hour weeks the past couple of weeks getting through staff training and the first couple weeks of actual camp. Fortunately I live off camp. My nomal routine has been to work, come home and pour a couple glasses of whatever I have on tap and then go to bed. Repeat ad nauseum.

Currently I am the only guy in the food service department that has been here through summer camp before, so it has been a challenge getting all these new folks up to speed. We have been preparing and serving meals for 250-275 people 3 times a day, 6 days a week with more meals on weekends for retreat groups in our conference center.

No major disasters yet and things seem to be getting smoother. I actually get the next two days off now. I plan to brew on Saturday.
