Just wrapped up my Tasty APA brewday. I had some hop issues with my LHBS, but nothing too bad, so I think I will call it Dirktastic. And if that don't jinx it, nothing will!

Thanks, Tasty.

I brewed this a few eeks ago during my brew day from hell (stuck mash, blown pump, mashed for almost 2 hours etc...)

Anyway, the beer tastes great!

You are making the world a better place with that attitude Tasty. Let's all spread it around!

I'm drinking my second batch (my 5th brew to date) of the older Tasty APA recipe kit from B3. It came out much better than the first batch I made which was my first brew ever. I can tell the difference more happy yeast and nutrients for that yeast is doing vs. the first batch.

Filtering will soon be in my future.

Aloha and thanks for taking the time you do on the show and in the forum sharing your wisdom.

I kegged my Tasty APA, hereafter called Dirktastic. Thanks for the recipe, Tasty. This is the best Pale Ale I have ever made! And thanks to Justin for giving Tasty a place to influence me. And thanks to JP. He knows why.

The link http://beerdujour.com/Recipes/Tasty%20APA.html is not working. It says Web page not available. In fact, just tried any of beerdujour.com and non of it is working.
Any where else Tasty's APA recipe is located?

It's probably just down temporarily. The recipe I used, adjusted for the hop alpha acids and my crappy 60% efficiency, is here http://homebrewer2005.blogspot.com/2009/02/tasty-apa-brew-day.html. But give beerdujuor a try tomorrow.

Wow, thanks. Fast replies around here! I'll plug this in to my generic 70% efficiency ( since I've only done 2 AG batches) and try this out.
From all the accolades about this beer, I am already salivating.
