When I build the heat exchangers I sell. I have to lightly hammer the end of the heating element to get it to go through a 1" tube.

They work great and make maintaining temps a breeze.

Do your elements tend to rust? I am having an issue with mine rusting.

I'll have to take a look. Mine are mostly invisible inside the heat exchanger. I generally run PBW through at 170 degrees and then hot rinse and I don't worry about what is left.

No pics. I don't feel like breaking down my heat exchanger. Even if I did I am not sure a picture would really show how bent it is.
