Wyeast 1084

Wed May 31, 2006 6:55 am

I have a Wyeast 1084 (Irish Ale) package in my fridge (been there for a few months just waiting to get a sweet sweet taste of some wort). Anyway, does anyone have any suggestion as to lineing up multiple beers on this strain (obviously an Irish Ale would be one suggestion). In the past, I've typically just used a strain for a single batch, so I'm not too knowledgable as to how to use a single strain on multiple batches. Thanks for the assistance.

Cheers!

Are you looking to grow enough yeast to pitch into multiple fermenters or are you hoping to reuse the yeast by pitching onto a finished fermentation's cake?

A little from column A, a little from column B. I'm going to do a starter, of course, but it would be pitching a second batch onto a yeast cake.
