well i suppose its time to intro myself......

My Real name Is Jayson, and im from the the land of Oz where fosters and VB like rivers and we eat vegimite with every meal :D

Ive been brewing on and off for about 20 years, starting as my grandfathers brewing assistant......ok in saying that i used to go out to the shed with him and assist him drink the beer, clean the bottles, and all that sort of fun stuff the 15 year old boys do......If Ma only knew

I have a couple of projects going at the moment, Im rebuilding a herms system, and trying to master a Australian Style Ale recipe. Im also trying to mutate an Ale yest to work well at lower temps....for what reason, i hav no idea, but its fun, but im trying to get it working around 10 deg c, and still ferment out in less then 1 week
....

I love TBN, and make sure im home on a monday morning to listen live

Keep up the good work

vegemite

Vegemite, you either love it or hate it.

It is "concentrated yeast extract" made from, you guessed it, yeast.

It is a spread, about the consistancy of smooth peanut butter, is very black and tastes sort of like yeast, vitamins and salt. You spread it on sandwiches or toast.

And if you love it, you must be an Aussie. Nobody else could.

Thanks to Oz, I have heard some of your shows.

He said I HAD to listen. We live on an internet backwater with linespeeds that crawl, so we went satellite with a monthly download limit that means no audio downloads. Oz downloaded all the files, burnt them to dvd and sent them to me. Awesome, thanks Oz.

Have had a great time listening to the recordings. Looking forward to at least hanging in the chatroom while you guys are broadcasting.
time for another beer
