I know its not quite the same devastation of 425 years of brewing like Youngs of London, but it still sucks to see A-B buying up their competetion and movin them away from places where people counted on the jobs. I actually bought a few sixers of RR for a bonfire last weekend, and I believe that will be the last time I drink a RR (Im sure most of you will say thats a good thing) but I have always enjoyed drinking RR or Iron CIty, if for nothing else to support the city of Pittsburgh and its surrounding areas (My hometown). TO call a bunch a bunch of guys to a meeting then tel them their label who they have worked for for years, has been sold, but in order to save a few bucks, they did not buy the brewery and are moving 5oo miles away. This may be a bt of a whiney post, but I see more and more old institutions (Buildings, companies, sports teams, breweries) being bought out and destroyed in the name of progress and it
is upsetting. O well, if anyone is looking to spend a few million for a functional brewery in lovely western PA, give InBev a call.
