one eye, dont be put off, its realy not that hard to do, you just need to pay attention to the little things like boil time and fermentation temp pitching rates and the like,

Thirsty have a go at producing somethink like cooper pale ale, keep the hops low and just use Joe White Ale malt, If you want to realy push your skills try it with Just POR hops, with a ale you dont have the DMS issues, but if you use a yeast like 1056 or US56 youll get an idea of how your fermentation has gone

Thanks Oz,

I was thinking about trying to brew something like a Coopers anyway. I quite liek a coopers or 2 and If I can learn a thing or 2 while I'm at it....

But...

What about bottling a lager?

My concern is that after lagering too much yeast would flock out and there would not be enough left for bottle conditioning. And even then, would I condtion at lager or ale temps? Or should I just save the lager for later when I get a kegging system?

you can always add alittle yeast back into the bottle saf lager is good for that or a chap yeast, the bottle condition at room temp for about 2 weeks the chill it down again
