Two cornies on the porch

Thu Jan 15, 2009 7:40 am

When I got home from work yesterday there were two five gallon pin lock kegs on my back porch. I called a couple of my brewing buddies and no one knew anything about it. I don't have pin lock connectors and they are shorter and wider than the ball lock ones that I have. Unfortunately they won't fit in my kegerator but I was considering cutting the liquid out tubes and using these as secondaries. Anyways, just stoked about this and figured I'd tell you guys about my calender challenged Santa Claus. (Dirkus you wouldn't know anything about this would you?)

why cut the out tubes? they remove quite well after you unscrew and remove the pin lock peg...

Or don't take them out at all and just buy some pin lock connectors. That way yuo can push with Co2 to your serving keg.

This is exactly what I was planning. I'm just going to cut the liquid out tubes about an inch to leave the trub behind when transferring.

I wish I could claim credit for such a gift, but not this time. Sounds like it will be a nice addition to the brewery.

I think that sounds like a good setup for a joke! "So there are these Two cornies on the porch...."
