New beer, The Stanley Cup Champs

Thu Dec 18, 2008 11:26 pm

I was looking at the awesome color of my autumn maple clone and it reminded me of the greatest team of all-time, the Philadelphia Flyers, and it hit me. A new beer called the 2009 Stanley Cup champs, inspired by the black and tan, it will be half guinness/half autumn maple clone. I just thought of it, and dont have any guinness on hand, so I'll have to make one tomorrow. I'll post a pic asap. suck that jp, try making a black and teal, see how that tastes.
Here is one half of the equation.

You are a bit mistaken... what you want is a black and gold!! Maybe some guinness and a golden strong for the team that's going back to the Stanley Cup to win it this year... the Pittsburgh Penguins!! :jnj :D

Your black and maple sounds kind of interesting though... can't wait to see pics.

I think you both took too many pucks to the head. Philly is NOT going ot win anything this year...

At least Pittsburgh has a shot, but they haven't impressed me too much yet this year (as a team, of course they've got pansy Crosby and Malkin)

How about a nice refreshing glass of Black and Silver! Look out for the young Kings! See how they outplayed Washington, San Jose and the Rangers!!! Black and Silver would be just straight Guiness out of the Silver Stanley Cup :pop
Enjoy Great Beer!

If I recall correctly, the Rangers won that game...

:D

But thanks for playing. Johnny, tell him what he's won!
