I ran into a Journeymen Pipefitter (gay jokes... anyone?) at my LHBS and he and I started talking. I gave him a lead on some Sankey kegs, he gave me this lead.

It is made specifically for food and approved by the FDA. "Meets FDA standards. Max. temp. 120° F constant, can spike to 140°F."

Don't you have to worry about scratches like in a bucket? We had this same issue come up with a discussion on the V-Vessel system in September. I'd do a link to the thread but I don't know how.

The economics of the thing might work out though. Say you can do 10-12 batches before you get some kind of scratch that renders the thing dangerous, might actually be worth it for someone like me who doesn't have the time to even do one brew a month. You've got me thinking at least. Good find noremorse.

Thanks for clearing up the food safe thing noremorse... i was kinda drunk when I read it the first time.. I would think you would get a slightly longer life from one of these as opposed to a bucket. When i get some $$$$ i think im gonna pick one up and see how it does. I like the Idea of still being able to see the level of liquid also..

For the price I may be picking one up, if it fits in the fridge fine.
