I love oatmeal stout. Does anyone else love oatmeal stout?
My recipe is:
9 lbs domestic 2-row (I never notice much of a difference between base grains so i have used domestic 2-row, english pale, and even english lager malt.)
1lb dark Munich
1lb Wheat malt
4 oz chocolate malt
4oz roasted barley
1 lb 6 ounces quick oats (it's the size of the package in the grocery store)
mash for 60 mins at 152F
1.5 oz EKG 60 mins
1.0 oz EKG 5 mins
wyeast 1068- I really like this yeast for this beer
