So... I'm looking to try out something new, and I maple syrup is one thing I'd like to play with.
Here's a recipe I generated:
Batch Size: 3.79 L
650g Pale Liquid Malt Extract (UCM)
70g Maple Syrup
10g Cascade (45 min)
10g Cascade (5 min)
US-05 Yeast
I am looking for an easy drinking beer with a touch of maple flavour. I am just looking to find out if the above recipe will satisfy my goals. Also, if bottle conditioning, should I use maple syrup to carbonate the beer?
