While I average 6 hours per brew, it really depends on my mash schedule for that brew. For a single infusion mash, I can do a complete brew in about 4 hours, including cleanup. Unfortunately, I do a lot of step mashes and decoctions too, so a 3 or 4 step infusion mash is around six hours, and double decocts takes a minimum of six hours, and a triple 8. So I figure I spend eight hours on making beer, and another two hours on all the associated stuff like packaging and maintenance, so 10 hours to enjoy a tapful of either CO2 or Nitro pour taps whenever I feel like a beer (which is usually 24/7/365.249) per week, which isn't all that bad, especially since its mine -- but I'm always willing to share and enjoy!
Cheers, prost, and slainte!
