No. Soda is always Coke. The conversation with a waitress should go something like this:

Waitress: What do you want to drink?
Mallard: Coke.
Waitress: Alright, what kind?
Mallard: Sprite.

you order a coke here you get coca-cola, unless they carry pepsi products then you get pepsi. If i wanted a sprite i would say, i'll have a sprite.
Thats like saying I'll have a beer, then she has to go through the whole on tap and available beers.Which isn't a bad thing really, gotta know your choices I just like to throw them off and order a Samuel Jackson

However I'm not partial either way and after looking over this recipe again I'm not sure that 15 or 16 oz. of beans would lend much anyway. So I guess it would be worth a try to go bean-less! Let me know how it goes Code. I think I am going to make this soon too.

Maybe we should change the definition here: Contest chili doesn't have beans. I always add beans to my chili. And Fritos and cheese. And then I top it off with a bit of cheese.
