Will there be a lot of off flavor if I'll use barrel that used to have vinegar in it?

Wouldn't acetic acid stay in wood and leach into beer?

If you coat the inside of the barrel with mayonnaise it will prevent the acetic from leaching out.

Chemist, while Spider might be enjoying this a bit too much. He keeps saying things I want to say.

But the sarcasm and mocking comes from you dismissing advice from people who know more about brewing than you do. Just because they are telling you are doing something wrong or taking the wrong approach now, doesn't mean they are insulting your intelligence. Drop the ego.
