I spoke to Eric Watson at a festival a few months back. He was still new at Titletown so the samples they had were not his beer yet. He was a nice guy and gave me about 15 tokens for free beer at Titletown. I just haven't had the time to make the trek to Green Bay. I have heard good things about him.

Just finished listening to the archive of this weeks show - awesome. Dan is a great guy and I really appreciate that he did not hold back any information. We need to get him back to talk more about decoction and yeast. Great job guys. When can we expect the promised GB clone recipe?

Agreed, great show!
Just curious if anybody else had problems with the recording from the archives and the left channel dropping in and out? It might be from my converting it to m4b bookmarkable format but haven't had this issue before.
Thanks

Nope, I heard the same thing. At first I thought it was my car stereo, but it might be a studio-side thing - some of the waveforms on my mp3 software looked pretty goofy.

Looks like it drops out briefly after the first hour, then quite a bit throughout hour 2.

I noticed it on this week's archive too. It was probably the result of Doc slobbering on his mic.

I thought that was just the crappy speakers in my truck. Ya I got the same thing. I thought my left speakers were going out on me.

Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza.

I was listening to the low speed stream and I hardly noticed a problem. The volume seemed to have dropped at different times, but all and all it was good. I guess my volume dropped when you high speed listners lost your left channel.
Peace!
