In the new (December) BYO on p 59 "Kegs on the move: Build a portable brew stand" by Matt Wilson. He uses craftsman screwdriver handles. Looks pretty cool.

Here's my process.

I know that you posted this link a while ago, but I wanted to let you know that those are really cool. I've been painfully trying to think of a simple way to make nice-creative looking handles. That is exactly what I would do, if I were creative enough to have come up with it. Thankfully for me, there is you and the internet! Nice instructions too.

I made these handles about a month ago. I used zebrawood in the shape of my headstock design that i use on the guitars i build.
This is the bass i built minus a G string... too much slappin
