Raise yet another glass

Tue Mar 15, 2011 7:04 pm

Some of you folks know I lost my father in December. Then, my Godfather passed a few weeks after my dad in January.

Well, my wife's dad collapsed and paramedics were unable to revive him on Saturday, too. I was at his place not a week earlier visiting (my wife stayed to help him recuperate from his own unrelated health issues). He was a great guy. I actually took a road trip to his place a few years ago just to play golf with him while the wife stayed home.

My wife is doing well but it's getting pretty tough on her. Hopefully this is it for a while.

He'll be missed.

Bdawg I am sorry to hear about your loss. I am raising a glass of my finest for him. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I hope you remember the good times.

I just got up, so I'm raising the coffee cup. Hang in there BDawg. If we can do anything for you & the Mrs., let us know.

This morning I rasied a cup of coffee, and tonight a pint. It's tough to go through loss and grieving over and over in a short time. I lost both of my amazing grandfathers within 7 weeks a few years ago. I wish i could have asked them a few more things. My family sympathizes with you.
