I recently bought Soriachi Ace hops (Whole Flowers) because in the description it says the hops have a citrusy flavor, notably Lemon. I like the citrus hops and I thought that a lemon flavor would be nice in a summer wheat beer.
Anyone use a flavor addition of this hop? I am looking for some feedback on how lemony it is. Any specific info on time of flavor additions to the boil as well as quantities used would be helpful to me as well.
I intend to lightly hop a wheat beer and use enough of this hop to give a lemon citrus flavor then add cranberry extract prior to bottling so I don't want to totally hide the lemon.
