That is one of my favorites as well. If you don't live in Ohio, try Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale which is also excellent.

My absolute favorite holiday beer. Look for the oldest bottle you can find.

Ive always passed this beer up but bought it tonight based on your recommendation here. I bought a 2007 bottle but found it to be a little too much, killer nose but the taste was nothing but big munich and biting alcohol. Is a three year old bottle too fresh? It tastes like it needs another 3 years.

I gotta have me my Shipyard Pumpkin ale round Thanksgiving. Too bad it always sells out so quickly at the local Bevmo! To me, Shipyard's Pumpkin ale has a more apparent cinnamon (or maybe nutmeg-ish) taste than Jack's Pumpkin crap. Although, Shipyard doesn't seem to have a really full body texture. Cheers.

Weyerbacher Imperial Pumpkin Ale - 8% ABV; rich, pumpkin flavor, but not overly spiced. The best pumpkin beer I've had yet (yes, even better than DFH Ol' Punkin' Ale in my opinion)

Anchor Merry Christmas & Happy New Year Ale - It's different every year, but it never disappoints. I've got a few bottles of the 2008 and 2009 versions chilling in the fridge right now.

Sweetwater Festive Ale - Like Anchor, it changes from year to year.
