Whoo Hoo! I'll be returning beer right to you brotha!

Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere....

This came up on Aussiehomebrewer.com recently about the new Brew Dog beer in response to the drama over the Tokyo beer...

Dirk!

I haven't had much time to spend on the forums lately, but I'm making a point tonight because I'm enjoying your H2DC.

VERY NICE!!!

But there's a noticable difference. Yours has a really strong spice note. I thinks it tastes like mace, but I like it!!

Thanks brotha!!!

Thanks, BE. I wish I had had a bottle of mine to drink alongside yours. Definitely will be brewing this recipe again.

Hi all,
I finally made my version of this,
I ended up with 40L at 1040, so diluted half and fermented with 1318 and left half undiluted and fermented with 1968

cetianly pungent, but surprisingly drinkable (the diluted one), even if it finished a bit low at FG1008,

So I'm buying my first system soon, going straight to all grain. I'm really considering trying this one as my first batch. It sounds like a beer I would really like, and I've loved all of the BrewDog beers I've had thus far. I just wanted to ask though if anyone thought there was a reason this might be a tough recipe to try right off the bat.
Thoughts?

Nothing leaps to mind that would trip you up. It just won't smell like anything you've ever brewed before. Let us know how it turns out.
