If he can get rid of the fats and oils that way then mine should be just as good if not better. I would assume that the paper towel method would help in soaking up the oils. Thanks for the link.

Maybe try and outweigh the foam negative properties of the peanut butter with foam positive ingredients you can put in your beer.
Although a high hopped beer might be out of the question when brewing with peanut butter, the hops will aid in foam stability as well as melanoidins, high molecular sugars (from wheat ect.), and if you have the ability, using nitrogen. Reinforcing the beer with as many foam positive properties as you can will counteract the peanut butter.

I've also read that you can make your own PB extract with the peanut butter oil and a neutral grain spirit. Sounds interesting enough. Extract the oil from natural peanut butter as mentioned by the other guys in this thread and mix it with a neutral grain spirit. Flavor extraction depends on the contact time. Then, put the bottle into the freezer in an orientation from which you'll be able to pour out the alcohol and leave the fat behind. It's called fat washing if you want to google the process. It's how they end up with bacon flavored vodka. Bacon stout anyone? :aaron
