anyone know if you can get rid of the effects of this stuff in fruit juice? it's the stuff wine makers use to prevent further fermentation so it kills yeast. i had wanted to ferment some fruit juice out then spotted this little shit hiding at the bottom of the ingredients as a preservative. doh!
kegged-one light summer ale
kegged- one ordinary bitter
bottled- celebration ale
fermenting- ordinary bitter

I don't think so. Go get apple juice that doesn't contain preservatives.

Sure just pitch a huge yeast starter. The lil bit that is in the juice won't be able to handle all the yeast in a 2 quart starter so just overwhelm it not get rid of it.
