Violins and Tears and Shiznit

Fri Jul 03, 2009 4:44 am

Hey all,

I quit my job in feb in a fit of passion. I had decided to forge a life of beer for myself.

Three+ months of unemployment and economic downturn later, I came crawling back to the industry I thought I was done with.

In that time I, as an Antipodean, was able to listen live to the Session. I laughed I cried, and I realised how cool it is to be able to perticipate as a BN'er. I now have a job that I am lucky to eat lunch, let alone four hours of delicious drunken buffoonery.. so my live listeing is on hold for the near future.

I had the good fortune of starting my live experience around the episode with Moon River and the beeramerica.tv guys... man was that fun.

So thank you all and keep representing.

Dan,

PS, I am going dry for July, but only AFTER the 6 Rogue kegs are tapped and drained tomorrow in Sydney at the Taphouse. :jnj

Dry in July? You are in the wrong place, sir.

Welcome, anyway.

Man, the rogue imperial IPA and stout aren't bad at all... And that dry hopped red is a winner. Not too fond of the hazelnut brown or the choc stout.

I can't remember how I got home, or how my partner's birthday porcelain bowl wound up broken, or how I apparently gave her a hicky on her face.

Dry Diary

Day 1.
Confused and scared.
Reached for beer to go with cornflakes, had to repremand myself.
So this is how the other half live.

To put it bluntly, that's just wrong!

For God's sake, man... come back to the living!

Day 1 (later)

Cold sweats, uncontrollable shaking, mild roasty/nutty auditory hallucinations, synesthesia.
