Sierra Nevada & DFH - Life & Limb... Anyone yet?

Wed Nov 11, 2009 10:46 pm

Very curious... have been looking for it... was even at The Monument in Concord (which has 900 beers or something) in Bay Area over last weekend and no dice...

Let us know if you snap one up, very interested in seeing what these two powers came up with :D

I've got a case reserved. Just waiting for the call. It sounds too good to risk not getting any.

I had it this weekend at the Draft Mag's Big Pour. It was fucking delicious.

Mylo did you have the limb and life or the life and limb? Two diffrent beers limb and life is the draft only second running beer after making the life and limb. Life and limb is 24 oz bottles only being distributed in the sierra distribution network.

I bought one the other day at Perry's in Livermore, and with the comments made here, I can't wait to taste. Now the question is "do I share it with my brother"?

From the press release
Limb & Life-a draft-only beer-will debut in October; with Life & Limb 24oz bottles and limited draft to follow in November.

Oh fuck if I know. And fuck SN/DFH for naming two beers like that!!! The one I had was on tap. It was pretty big, and both SN and DFH had good representation there. So now I am pissed and boycotting DFH, because I'm sure it was Sam's fucking idea to name that shit that way. In the meantime, I'll pretend that Palo Santo is from some other brewery.

I don't know what's worse: the fact that the first thing that popped into my head when I saw the acronym DFH wasn't Dogfish Head, but a phrase used on one of the other sites I visit often (Dirty Fucking Hippies), or the fact that now you bastards have ensured I bug my local craft pub about Life & Limb until they buy a batch.
