pairs nicely!

Nice! Had crawfish a few weeks ago. I'm in Northern Louisiana! And I completely agree that a Noble Pils pairs perfectly with spicy crawfish.

I'd read this thread last week, and while wandering through the beer store, I picked up a sixer based on y'all's comments here. Pretty tasty beer. I'd like to see more pils character to it (I doubt it's 100% pils), and maybe a touch more hop character. Very crisp and refreshing though, definitely one of the better Sam Adams beers I've had.

I think you're gonna need more than one beer for all that.

I can eat 5lbs in about 10 mins flat so I usually only need 1 beer, 2 if they are really spicy the way I like em.

Yeah, it goes very well with crawfish, I just wish I could get it at some of the restaurants around here.

I'm impressed with the Noble Pils. I find that when it is fresh on tap the hopping rates seem just right to me. Have yet to try it in the bottle... curious to see how it holds up.

For Sammy, I think this is a home run. I don't drink very much Sam Adams.. so I'm not as in tune to the house flavor you guys mentioned.

When in a non beer oriented bar/a place where you know the craft beer moves about a keg a year on a tap (and people say, "you mean you have to clean beer lines?") I'll definitely be ordering this up in a pinch.

I don't get the "5 Noble Hops" though.

From SA website

Interesting that they use their 2-row Harrington malt. This is a base malt they use in most every beer they make
