Yea, they are definitely doing a great job of selling their beer.

I think its interesting how much they are investing and buying up craft market brands and creating alliances with craft brewers for distribution. I wonder if it is because they see that in the future the "American Light Lager" will eventually go by the way side and have a much smaller market and they just want to be prepared for it or what...

I spoke with an AB distributor about this last year, and the distributors are concerned about the growth of craft beer, and their ability to increase market share of the core brands. So a lot of distributors are branching out into distributing craft beers alongside the ABIB brands. In the past, AB would only let their distributors sell AB products, so this is a big change.

Its the same story everywhere! People's tastes are evolving, and they're learning about what is actually good. Thats why hershey or mars or whoever, bought SharfenBerger chocolate a while ago. Quality has a place and people are willing to pay for it. The big guys are trying to cash in on this. Good for them, let them try, all it does is amplify what we already know. Until the day that InBev buys Russian River, I couldn't give a shit.
The real question here is what about Bud Lite with Lime??? Now there is a goddamn tasty beverage! /sarcasm
