anyone tried the new 8.2% blue moon grand cru?

too true. a coworker gave me a bottle for Christmas. it's just a beefed up version of Blue Moon. nothing to write home about.

Grand Cru is Coors' highest rated currently available beer on RateBeer.com. It's probably good, but it definitely gears towards beer-idiots who think that a big price tag makes the beer good. At my local market can get a bottle of Double Bastard on the other side of the case for $4 less.

had it as a starter to a winter tasting over the holidays.... pretty non-descript. more mellow than blue moon (aka tastes less like grandma smells) but nothing special.

It's a pass.
