Bad Micro's of the 90's?

Mon May 12, 2008 5:52 am

Does anyone remember some bad micros from the 90's? You know the ones that gave craft beer a bad wrap. A buddy and i were debating it over the weekend and i wish i had remembered some at the time.

I guess everyone was too drunk to remember the 90's. That's cool too i guess.

Lessee:

Bosque Brewing wasn't great. They were, I believe, out of Waco, Texas. The second incarnation of Texas Brewing Company out of Fort Worth had some particularly nasty beers. Bluebonnet Lager? Tasted like bluebonnets.

I wasn't old enough to drink in the 90s, but I've had some beer in the not to distant past that wasn't that great.

Almost every time it's been from a brew pub that doesn't distribute very far. And most of those are now closed or serving better beer.
