Affligem Noël

750ml. brown corked & caged bottle. Date on cork was 10/03, so it's a very fresh batch. Poured out a medium brown color, with a massive head. A loud pop expelled the cork rather forcefully. The head was light brown in color, and it faded very slowly back to a sticky lacing along the sides of the glass. Aromas are of sweet malts, bready yeast, and a very subtle spicyness as well. Tastes of malts take over as the hops fade away into oblivion. A nice seasonal, but nothing to write home about.
